For many, Spanish is the only language they truly understand, yet finding the Quran and Islamic teachings in Spanish is a challenge that leaves them unable to learn and grow in their faith.

Despite these barriers, their hearts remain open and eager to learn. These are people who see the light but are struggling to reach it.

Moved by their curiosity, we’ve already distributed thousands of Spanish Qurans to those in need—many of whom accepted Islam shortly after reading it.

For many Latinos, Islam feels familiar. As they begin exploring it, guided by the Quran and supported by our learning resources, they start to notice deep connections between Islamic teachings and their cultural roots.

Since 2001, IslamInSpanish has been the pioneer in educating Latinos and Muslims about Islam WORLDWIDE through our digital and local platforms.

Based in Houston, Texas our organisation began by carrying out live programs through almost all of the city’s 100 mosques. Due to the gracious donations from our community, we were able to open up the FIRST-EVER Spanish-speaking Islamic Center in the United States in 2016!

We aim to educate Latinos about Islam in Spanish by utilising the most authentic sources only. We separate Islam from the culture of Muslims of different countries and explain its principles in a culturally-relevant manner so that Latinos can understand the many similarities between Islam and the Hispanic culture and its historic roots.

So far, about 1,000+ people have embraced Islam through IslamInSpanish’s Dawah efforts.

Many Latinos who have embraced Islam through our work often express how prior to discovering our content they have always felt confused, unclear, uneasy, or empty with their pre-existing beliefs.

By God’s grace as well as the support of our community, we have the ability to give them wisdom and clarity about Islam in the language that they understand best.
